Julie Chen Moonves will host the popular reality show that has been a summer sensation Big Brother. The show is set to return to CBS on the 5th of August to begin the 2nd season. Chen Moonves has been an integral part of The Talk since 2010, where she was the host and the moderator. She was a writer before she became a host, however her true passion was to write. Actually, the show brought the show an Emmy. The Talk, her outstanding talk show earned her an Emmy. The Talk is a show that examines current events through five female hosts. Chen Moonves co-hosted CBS News' weekday morning program The Early Show in 2002 in 2010 and then became host of the talk show. In the past, she served as CBS Morning News anchor and hosts for The Early Show. Following the 9/11 attacks, she traveled to Cairo for an informative and eye-opening interview. Chen Moonves's interviews include newsmakers including the former New York City City mayor Rudy Giuliani; Queen Rania Jordanian William Cohen (former Defense Secretary), and celebrities like Denzel Washington. Chen Moonves was Koppel's co-worker on Anatomy of a Riot (the Columbia du-Pont-winning Primetime Special that examined the Los Angeles riots of 1992).
